Casting through the morning mist on Lake Copneconic, fishing for an elusive monster bass, is an outdoor experience any child would enjoy. This new program teaches fundamental fishing skills – commonly used knots, typical freshwater baits, fish habitat, casting basics, hooking and unhooking fish, and guidelines for catch and release. Campers spend mornings fishing and afternoons in traditional camp fun.
Snoopers enjoy activities like nature hikes, arts-n-crafts, boating, treasure hunting, and swimming. Our first time campers have plenty of nurturing counselors to encourage them along the way. Funtastic Fridays include a ‘Fun Fair’ complete with face painting, pony rides and wacky events. The week ends with a Snooper sized variety show and awards ceremony. This half-day program runs from 8:30 AM to 12:15 PM.
Explorers Day Camp answers a child’s yearning for adventure and discovery in an environment that is upbeat and wholesome. Our program is specially designed for small group participation allowing for each camper to receive personal, one-on-one attention. Campers enjoy exploring activities like swimming, the ‘Dig It’ pit, Aqua Jump, archery, fishing, reptile & amphibian center, and more. Each week is topped off with a Beach Bash!
Pathfinders Day Camp is designed for an age group that loves playing outdoors and trying new things. Daily adventures foster an appreciation for nature, teach new skills, and are jam-packed with fun! Campers can try their hand at our Zoom Toss Zip Line, archery, fishing, New Ga Ga Pit, aqua jump, and more! No matter the adventure, new experiences and exciting memories are abounding!
Challengers days are filled with adventure based activities, traditional favorites and the ever popular camper’s choice. Campers enjoy the classics of arts and crafts, swimming, kayaking and aqua jumping. Thrill seekers will gain confidence and life skills as they take on challenges of our high ropes course, Creek Freak zip line, Giant Swing, mountain biking, and more! Challengers experience a full spectrum of fun, friendship and new adventures.
Designed for the sports crazed, this program features five-full mornings of athletics. Girls’ mornings will include soccer, basketball, volleyball, field hockey, and disc golf. Boys’ mornings will include soccer, basketball, flag football, street hockey, and disc golf. Each sports packed week includes afternoons in traditional camp fun.
A camper favorite, this program creates an amazing avenue for nature exploration and pure kid fun! Nature nuts discover unique inhabitants of creek beds and ponds, investigate birds and bugs, view fascinating creatures through microscopes, and learn about cold-blooded animals in our reptiles and amphibian center. Afternoons are spent in traditional camp fun.
