Fish, Frogs & Forts

Entering 1st – 3rd Grades

Younger campers will love exploring nature, building secret forts, hunting for frogs and interacting with reptiles and amphibians.  Kids will love learning to fish and attempt to catch the mysterious Big Charlie!

Nature Discovery

Entering Grades 3rd – 6th

Nature enthusiasts will have hands-on experiences with reptiles, amphibians, bugs, birds, and plants.  Adventurous hikes through Camp’s forests, ponds and streams will help introduce campers to Camp’s amazing animals and wild habitats.

High Five Sports

Entering Grades 3rd – 6th

Sport fanatic campers will play a unique mix of camp games and sports.  Ultimate Frisbee, capture the flag as well as soccer, basketball, flag football, street hockey and don’t forget the famous GaGa tournament!

Adventures in Imagination

Entering Grades 3rd – 6th

The Genesee District Library and Camp Copneconic are partnering once again to offer an exciting specialty-themed day camp.  Campers become immersed in a book series through creative programming, as well as enthusiastic staff.  The story will come alive daily through imaginative activities into the wonderful world of mystery and adventure.

Boots-N-Saddles

Entering 3rd – 8th Grades

From showmanship to trail ride adventures, riders of all levels will be sure to improve their skills.  Friendships will develop between campers as they learn to care for their horses, build confidence in their riding and make memories that will last a lifetime!

Rod and Reels

Entering Grades 4th – 7th

Anglers learn fundamental fishing skills such as baiting, casting, habitat, and setting the hook.  Boats fully rigged with trolling motors and fish finders allow campers to learn advanced skills and try to catch the famous, Big Charlie!

Copneconic Rambler

Entering Grades 4th – 7th

Campers enjoy a taste of all of our specialty camps like horseback riding, watersports, high adventure, sports, nature, survival and fishing.  This program gives an adventurous variety of what Camp has to offer.

Copneconic Survivor

Entering Grades 4th – 7th

Earning team points along their journey, campers learn survival skills in the rugged Copneconic wilderness.  Shelter building, orienteering, fire building, fishing and outdoor cooking are needed to succeed in this game of survival.

Watersports

Entering Grades 5th – 8th

Watersports Day Camp offers endless ways for kids to discover all that Lake Copneconic has to offer.  Jet-ski tubing, paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and aqua toy obstacles will make a real splash with friends.

Adventure Challenge

Entering Grades 5th – 8th

Thrill seekers will love our double-decker high ropes course, 55 foot climbing tower, Creek Freak zip line, mountain biking and giant swing.  Campers also learn about teambuilding on our challenging low ropes course.

Horse Lovers

Entering Grades 5th – 8th

Horse Lovers is for equestrians interested in a progressive week of riding lessons, show ring strategies and equestrian skills development.  A full day of specialized classes will focus on expanding horse knowledge and confidence.  This program is for riders with previous riding experience.

Trekkers

Entering 7th-8th Grades

Trekkers Day Camp appeals to older campers who enjoy expanding their horizons and experiencing new adventures. Campers travel off camp one day during the week via bus for a fun trip to some of the area’s most adventurous and exciting attractions.  While at camp, our oldest Day Campers love paddling around the lake in Corcls, playing sports or spending time on the Wibit water obstacle course!
