Project E.A.R.T.H. is designed for schools serving grades 4 through 8, and who prefer a broad based outdoor education experience that enhances environmental, social and academic goals. One to five day programs are available. An acronym, EARTH stands for: Environmental Discovery Adventure & Cooperative Learning Recreational Fun Touching Nature Historical and Cultural Lessons.

Project EARTH provides a diverse curriculum that is entirely customizable to school goals. Teachers and administrators, with the help of Copneconic’s Director of School Programs will choose activities that will accomplish the goals of the camping experience.

Michigan benchmarks are reinforced through experiential learning. A love of nature is instilled in students and a better understanding of our Earth will be gained. Students develop a greater respect for the environment and all who share it.
