Making Camp Affordable

During this time of economic uncertainty, kids and alumni are glad to know that YMCA Camp Copneconic and its continued excellence remains one constant in the lives of many. With a universal hope that good times will prevail over bad, our staff along with others have already made the choice to settle for nothing less than great! As one parent said, “There will always be ups and downs with the economy, but my child is only ten years old once.”

With our competitive rates, special discounts, and payment installment option, we have worked hard to keep camp affordable, while still providing maximum quality. We also maintain our campership program for those families coping with financial hardship. The bottom line is that the value of a camp experience is priceless!

Special Discounts

Camp Copneconic provides special discounts for early registrations, additional children, and multiple weeks. Below outlines our discount program designed to help make camp affordable.

  • Additional Child Discount (Resident Camp & Teen Travel Camp: $75 Discount) (Day Camp: $25 Discount)
  • Early Bird Registration Discount ($25 for Returning Campers Only – Applies to one session per camper. Registration must be received by February 17th)

Camperships

For those experiencing financial hardship and cannot afford camp fees, the YMCA’s policy is that no child is denied an opportunity to attend our programs due to an inability to pay. If financial need is clearly demonstrated, full and partial camperships are available.

Monthly Installment Program

For those registering for camp online, you will have the option to spread your payment from the time you register up to June 15th.

  • Spread out your camper’s tuition
  • 2 to 6 month installment options

How it works:

  1. Register online (the installment program is only available for online registrations)
  2. Pay your deposit at the time of registration ($100 for Resident Camps; $75 for Day Camps)
  3. Your remaining balance will then be split into equal monthly payments to be paid on the 15th of each month
  4. Your final payment will be June 15th
  5. See below for examples:
