Our Day Camp programs offer kids age-progressive programming and multiple options so campers can return week to week or year to year and always experience unique programs!

SNOOPERS

AGES 4 YEARS-ENTERING K

Snoopers enjoy a full day of fun and exploration! It’s the perfect introduction to summer camp with activities such as canoeing, pony rides, frog hunting and so much more. Low camper-to-staff ratios and positive role models create a safe and magical outdoor camp experience.

SCOUTS

ENTERING GRADES: 1–2

New adventures and magic begins for our younger campers with Scouts. This well-rounded program offers camp activities perfect for their age group, including archery, extreme water rockets and sneaking. Campers will also enjoy aqua jump and canoeing on beautiful Lake Copneconic.!

FISH, FROGS & FORTS

ENTERING GRADES: 1–3

Campers will love exploring nature, building secret forts, hunting for frogs and interacting with reptiles and amphibians. Kids will love learning to fish and attempting to catch the mysterious Big Charlie!

MINI ALL-STARS

ENTERING GRADES: 1–3

This is a great choice for kids who want to try an array of sports! The week includes basketball, soccer, gaga and flag football. Throughout the week, campers will also experience a variety of active group games designed to enhance teamwork!

AQUAMANIA

ENTERING GRADES: 1–4

Aquamaniacs love corcling, swimming and playing on our aquatic playground of water toys! Campers also explore beautiful Lake Copneconic while tubing or during a pontoon swim.

TRAVELERS

ENTERING GRADES: 1–4

Set your sights on discovery through new adventures every day! One day campers will be at the waterfront bouncing on an aqua toy, the next exploring trails on camp and meeting our reptiles. Kids then travel to the woods for a day of survival skills, shelter building and fires, followed by a day of teamwork playing group sports!

BLAZERS

Entering Grades 3-5

Campers will have fun splashing around with new friends during free swim, developing new skills at archery and building self-confidence on the zip-line. Blazers will also foster an appreciation for nature and the great outdoors by biking the trails on camp and learning fire building.

ADVENTURE IN IMAGINATION

ENTERING GRADES: 3–6

The Genesee District Library and Camp Copneconic are partnering once again to offer an exciting specialty-themed day camp. Campers become immersed in a book series through creative programming, as well as enthusiastic staff. The story will come alive daily through imaginative activities into the wonderful world of mystery and adventure.

MISSION INNOVATION

ENTERING GRADES: 3–6

Do you like to explore, solve problems and use technology? Join us for an engaging week of exploring STEM projects through hands-on investigations. Campers will build catapults, balloon rockets and spaghetti skyscrapers. Throughout all projects, we will emphasize the engineering design process, creativity and the importance of collaboration. Campers will experiment, engineer and explore, all while receiving a traditional summer camp experience.

NATURE DISCOVERY

ENTERING GRADES: 3–6

Nature enthusiasts will have hands-on experiences with reptiles, amphibians, bugs, birds and plants. Adventurous hikes through Camp’s forests, ponds and streams will introduce campers to Camp’s amazing animals and wild habitats.

COPNECONIC SURVIVORS

ENTERING GRADES: 4–7

Earning team points along their journey, campers learn survival skills in the rugged Copneconic wilderness. Shelter building, orienteering, fire building, fishing and outdoor cooking are needed to succeed in this game of survival.

HIGH 5 SPORTS

ENTERING GRADES: 4–7

Sport fanatic campers will play a unique mix of camp games and sports, including Ultimate Frisbee and beach volleyball, as well as soccer, basketball, flag football and street hockey. And don’t forget the famous Gaga tournament!

NAVIGATORS

ENTERING GRADES: 4–7

Campers navigate to a new area of camp each day to experience new adventures! One day, campers will learn survival skills such as knot tying and outdoor cooking, the next they’ll navigate to the reptile house and vernal pond to learn about all the critters that live at camp. Another day will be spent playing team sports, another on the waterfront and another fishing in our trolling boats! This program is perfect for campers looking for an adventurous session!

RODS AND REELS

ENTERING GRADES: 4–7

Anglers learn fundamental fishing skills such as baiting, casting, habitat and setting the hook. Boats fully rigged with trolling motors allow campers to learn advanced skills and try to catch the famous Big Charlie!

ADVENTURE CHALLENGE

ENTERING GRADES: 5–8

Thrill seekers will love our double-decker high ropes course, 55-foot climbing tower, Creek Freak zip line, mountain biking and giant swing. Campers also learn about teambuilding on our challenging low ropes course.

WATERSPORTS

ENTERING GRADES: 5–8

Watersports Day Camp offers endless ways for kids to discover all that Lake Copneconic has to offer. Jet-ski tubing, paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking, canoeing and aqua toy obstacles will make a real splash with friends.

TREKKERS

ENTERING GRADES: 7–8

Trekkers Day Camp appeals to older campers who enjoy expanding their horizons and experiencing new adventures. Campers travel off Camp for one day during the week via bus for a fun trip to some of the area’s most adventurous and exciting attractions. While at Camp, Trekkers love paddling around the lake in Corcls, playing sports, hanging out in hammocks and experiencing our tower zip line.
