At YMCA Camp Copneconic, we pride ourselves on having a family atmosphere.  Our guests return year after year because they feel part of an extended family and community that generous in spirit, fun in nature and rich in tradition.  We offer programming all 4 seasons and for the entire family, so you won’t have to wait for summer for your camp favorites!

Women’s Wellness Weekend

Whether your idea of fun is flying down a zip line or curling up with a good book in front of a warm fire, this ladies-only weekend is the perfect getaway. Let us take care of the cooking and cleaning so you can focus on what’s most important…you!

Dates: October 11–13, 2019
Price: $200 YMCA Member, $225 Community Member

Family Fun Day at Camp Copneconic

Join us for an afternoon of exciting programs and activities!  If you’ve seen how much fun your campers have had, and wish you could join in the fun, this day is for you.  Many of the favorite camp activities will be offered depending on the season.  Some favorites may include High Ropes, Zip Lines, Archery, Canoeing, Gaga, Reptile House, Fishing, Sledding, Cross Country Skiing,Fire Building and S’Mores!  Day ends with dinner and traditional campfire.  Ages 4+

Dates: Sunday, October 13, 2019
Price: $25/Pair, $5 Each Additional Family Member

Halloween Camp

Experience a truly hair-raising Halloween at Camp Copneconic this coming October, as we celebrate the much-anticipated fall holiday in spooktacular style! Sink your teeth into autumn activities such as scarecrow building, pumpkin carving, and many more traditional camp activities. Of course, Halloween at Camp Copneconic wouldn’t be the same without a campfire full of ghostly tales and a Trick-Or-Treat trek through our haunted forest. Join us this fall for Halloween Weekend; it’s to die for!

Dates: October 25–27, 2019
Ages: 3rd – 11th grades and return CITs from summer 2019
Camp Drop Off is between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and Pick Up/Slide Show is at 2:00 p.m. Registration opens January 1!

Winter Mini Camp

Have a blizzard of fun at Winter Camp! Join us for a winter wonderland at camp, complete with all of the staples of summer, adapted to a unique winter experience. Sledding, tobogganing, ice skating and so much more will be enjoyed during this winter weekend! Bring a new friend to camp with you or reconnect with friends from the summer.

Spring Break Day Camp

Experience the wonders of springtime in the great outdoors as Mother Nature begins her seasonal transformation of Camp Copneconic. During this fun-filled week, campers will enjoy some of our favorite summer activities including the reptile house, high adventure, archery and even a special field trip to the YMCA for swimming!

SUMMER CAMP OPEN HOUSES

YMCA Camp Copneconic invites families to preview our 2020 Summer Camp Programs. Bring the whole family and ask your friends to experience an afternoon ‘sampler’ of exciting camp programs and activities. Meet the staff and tour the facility.

Mother & Daughter Ranch Camp

Moms and daughters will create memories, while learning to saddle, ride and care for their horses. In addition to traditional camp activities, there will also be opportunities for sunset and sunrise trail rides, pony games, horse-themed crafts and barn cookouts.
