Enjoy camp all year long!

At YMCA Camp Copneconic, we pride ourselves on having a family atmosphere.  Our guests return year after year because they feel part of an extended family and community that generous in spirit, fun in nature and rich in tradition.  We offer programming all 4 seasons and for the entire family, so you won’t have to wait for summer for your camp favorites!

Winter Mini Camp

Have a blizzard of fun at Winter Camp! Join us for a winter wonderland at camp, complete with all of the staples of summer, adapted to a unique winter experience. Sledding, tobogganing, ice skating and so much more will be enjoyed during this winter weekend! Bring a new friend to camp with you or reconnect with friends from the summer.

Dates: January 25–27, 2019 — Registration Opens November 19, 2018
Price: $145 1st Camper, $22 Off Each Sibling in the Household
Ages: 3rd – 11th grades and Summer of 2018 CITs
Camp Drop Off is between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and Pick Up/Slide Show is at 2:00 p.m.

Spring Break Day Camp – Jurassic Camp!

Dinosaurs have taken over camp this spring! Dr. T. Rex needs campers’ help to discover more about the creatures and take them back in time where they came from. Campers will enjoy some prehistoric fun, exploring camp and enjoying some of our favorite summer activities, including the reptile house, high adventure, archery and even a special field trip to the YMCA for swimming!

Dates: March 25–29, 2019 — Registration Opens January 1, 2019
Pricing: $205 1st Camper, $31 off each sibling in the household
Ages: 4 years old to 8th grade
Camp Drop Off is between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m.,  Pick Up is between 4:30 and 5:00 p.m. Registration opens January 1st!

SUMMER CAMP OPEN HOUSES

YMCA Camp Copneconic invites families to preview our 2018 Summer Camp Programs. Bring the whole family and ask your friends to experience an afternoon ‘sampler’ of exciting camp programs and activities. Meet the staff and tour the facility.

Dates: Sunday, March 10, 2019 and Sunday, May 19, 2019

Summer Camp Open Houses run from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Mother & Daughter Ranch Camp

Moms and daughters will create memories that last a lifetime during this fun-filled ranch weekend.  You and your daughter will learn to saddle, ride and care for your horse while also getting a taste of traditional camp activities.  There will be opportunities for sunset and sunrise trail rides, pony games, horse-themed crafts and barn cookouts.  Mother & Daughter Ranch Weekend is a bonding experience that you will cherish for years to come.

Dates: May 31, 2019 – June 2, 2019 and August 23–25, 2019
Price: $200/Mother, $75/Daughter
Grades: 3rd – 8th grades
Camp arrival time is between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and departure is at 11:00 a.m. Registration opens January 1!  Register early these programs fill quickly.

Family Fun Day at Camp Copneconic

Join us for an afternoon of exciting programs and activities!  If you’ve seen how much fun your campers have had, and wish you could join in the fun, this day is for you.  Many of the favorite camp activities will be offered depending on the season.  Some favorites may include High Ropes, Zip Lines, Archery, Canoeing, Gaga, Reptile House, Fishing, Sledding, Cross Country Skiing,Fire Building and S’Mores!  Day ends with dinner and traditional campfire.  Ages 4+

Halloween Camp

Experience a truly hair-raising Halloween at Camp Copneconic this coming October, as we celebrate the much-anticipated fall holiday in spooktacular style! Sink your teeth into autumn activities such as scarecrow building, pumpkin carving, and many more traditional camp activities. Of course, Halloween at Camp Copneconic wouldn’t be the same without a campfire full of ghostly tales and a Trick-Or-Treat trek through our haunted forest. Join us this fall for Halloween Weekend; it’s to die for!

Dates: October 25–27, 2019
Ages: 3rd – 11th grades and return CITs from summer 2018
Camp Drop Off is between 6:30 and 7:00 p.m. and Pick Up/Slide Show is at 2:00 p.m. Registration opens January 1!
